5 hours, 32 minutes, 1 second
of Downton Abbey
That's how I breezily got through
5 hours, 32 minutes, 1 second
of riding the trainer.
And at the end of it all I screamed and shouted,
"No, UHHHH, NO!!!"
Can I just say,
I didn't see that coming...
And if you were watching,
did you notice,
bicycles, bicycles,
here and there?
So cleverly central,
so cleverly in the background.
But most importantly,
the bicycle was really
part of Matthew's character.
I found this symbolism,
and statement,
quite interesting.
It is this cleverness that I loved so much
about Downtown Abbey.
I loved it so much,
I could hop back on
and do another
5 hours, 32 minutes, 1 second.
And it seems
opportunity shall provide...

I could not stop fixating on those bicycles too! And the dresses. And the hair. And the house. But yes, those bicycles were everywhere. I am just hoping there is a female character soon that travels via bicycle.
It's funny, but the first thing I thought when I saw the big house was "I would LOVE to bike around that estate."
Fear not, I hear that season 2 will be out in the fall. I cannot wait.
oh yes, and the dresses, and the hair, and the house! good point you make - do you think we will see it?
i hope some day you do get to bike around the estate. what a treat THAT would be.
wow! That's a marathon! :D
hey lc! yes, had I done it all at once it would have been quite the feat! in reality it was in a few tolerable sips.☺
