So...I'm sitting in the car...
in the grocery store parking lot with the boy listening to the new Coldplay song when I see Hubby running at me yelling, "Get out of the Car, Quick, Get out of the Car, Hurry...." So, I do and I see a lady effortlessly rolling through the parking lot atop her all white Dutch bike! I think I saw a black one at the end of last summer, but this is my first real Dutch-style bike siting in Minneapolis. I was so excited I ran the length of the parking lot to go see what it was and it was an Electra Amsterdam. Of course my California way of just walking up and talking to strangers came out and much to the owner and her husband's surprise I engaged them in a conversation about her bike. She's had it for a year and said she would highly recommend it. Since cash flow is a little low with all the house work to be done and the trip to be going on, I may have to consider this... But you get what you pay for... Deep down I'm thinking Batavus.
