It has been awhile since Bob has looked this happy, and besides knowing it was due to the big move - we now know why... Bob has Spondylosis. The x-rays were crazy - there is literally a bridge of bone that has formed between two vertebrae in his lower spine. And there are a couple more forming... The discomfort had finally become too great and we could no longer avoid trying yet another vet. But hat's-off to the U Of M - they were great and one of the best veterinary experience we have collectively had - dog and humans alike (no Chi testing this time folks...). Bob is now under a pain management program for the remainder of his life and we only hope we can give back to him all he has given us the last 10+ years. It was a hard day, but a good day. We hope to see that smile come back soon.
