It's been months since I touched a sewing machine,
but I had a friend coming this week from SF
with a little bump on her belly,
so I got to work and cranked out this super easy diaper bag.
It was so satisfying to actually create something again.
Like cycling, sewing is very zen for me,
turn on some tunes,
meditate,
and create.
I love giving gifts that I have created.
For good or for bad,
I'm just not one to go to the big box and get a run of the mill utility gift.
Making special friends feel special,
that's what it's all about.
