What a beautiful weekend! Nearly 80 degrees both days.
I swear, on my Saturday ride I had a smile on my face the entire time.
There is a lot to be said for endorphins and a little bit of color in your life.
However I faltered a bit on Sunday.
The next time I think I want to loaf about and mow the lawn instead of going to H's race, within cycling distance, where there were over a 1,000 cyclists who showed up and free beer ~ remind me what a stupid idea lawn mowing is!
Bicycles trump lawn mowing everytime.
Silly foolish me.

...and, H is a sweetie, look what he got me at the race here, he knows I need this more than anything lately. :)

nice picture of you (your shadow rather) + the lane. and the bike and trees-super colors!! and the lovely bill and his photo narratives are such a weekly audio-visual addiction <3 happy fall!!!
What beautiful pics! I am so missing New England in the fall with the foliage, apple picking, and fun. It's mighty hot and dry here in Austin - a whole lotta brown and green! Def need some oranges, reds and yellows!
Sounds like a book title: BikingNotLawns
thanks meligrosa! That shot with my shadow was on my commute to work - Autumn leaves are a nice time to stop and take it all in and lower your blood pressure!
mtblawgirl - thanks for the nice comments. I know somewhat of what you speak. When I lived in Denver the winters were beautifully mild, but very, very brown. Just live vicariously though, the heat is preferable to the 30 degree temp drop we had in one day here! ps You can still buy apples and make apple crisp AND eat it outside! ;)
tom - brilliant! I love it. Do I have to give you part of the profits now? :)
