Sweden Installment 6
One of the most fun afternoons one can spend in Stockholm is to stand right before the crest of the hill on Götgatan in Södermalm looking back towards the City

as everyone is on their way home from work. It is a constant and varied stream of everyday people challenging themselves, or not, up the hill. Good fun. The two coolest gals we saw were on polar opposite bikes - girl one on a customized silver fixy with a pink chain (it was a beautiful bike) and girl two - my kind of gal - in a long flowing summer dress tied around her neck cranking in a standing position on a Dutch-style bike. Both made it up the hill without walking - pretty impressive! (unfortunately I was not able to get a picture of either)

And on the way down before the hill gets going we found it thoughtfully impressive that the City provides a free air pump!
