260+ screws, half stripped. That's what we found when we had a leak in our toilet. Why was the toilet leaking? Because the tile job was so bad...or so we thought, what it really was was the huge hole cut around the pipe for the toilet - the toilet wasn't anchored into our floor. How does one fix the leak in the toilet? You replace the sub floor so you can screw in the toilet. But wait....someone already put some screws in the floor - about 300 or so of them every 2 inches! Sigh. After a day of frustration one becomes Zen with the situation, realizes it is going to take more than a 3 day weekend to fix this one, and off for a morning bike ride, some fun in the yard with the Pup, and some errand running we go...

it is the realization of something discussed long ago at a dog park in California and it makes my heart say ahhh......so worth it....
