I love wearing skirts.
I wear skirts all summer long.
I love riding my bicycle in a skirt.
This Summer has been just lovely
and I am thankful for all the time I have had
to be crafty and hone my sewing skills.
This is my latest triumph,
a modified Amy Butler A-Line skirt
with yet again, beautiful Japanese fabric.
I lowered the waist and raised the hem.
Perfect for a summer ride...
Most of all this Summer
I am thankful for this pause in life
and for all of the time I have had outside
in the absolutely beautiful Summer weather
held in the arms of the Sun.
Always take advantage of the days you have,
no matter the circumstance,
they are the only ones you have.
Now...off for a ride in that Sun...
