We started seeing single lost shoes consistently while biking in Marin a few years ago. Mainly men's shoes lying broken and battered by the side of the road. I was always asking how the heck so many people could be losing one shoe - how do you lose a shoe?! We saw so many shoes we joked about starting an art project about the shoes - we had some grand ideas. Finally, I saw a lost shoe in Stockholm and decided maybe it was time to start documenting these lost soles (heh heh...).
Well, I couldn't believe it last night when I discovered that not only has someone else had these same thoughts, but they have turned it into a movie! Darn I wish I had taken myself more seriously...
