I have been honored with the presence of snow on my birthday - yippee (note light sarcasm). Anyhow, it isn't -10 anymore, so I'll take it since it will melt by tomorrow. I went for a walk around the lake yesterday - it was like a great fever had finally broken and Spring had finally emerged. I enjoyed some great people watching, saw a cute little girl all in pink with a pink beannie hat on and pink shoes, heard a cardinal chirping in a tree, and felt the warm sun on my face. Anyhow, having a birthday is a pretty great thing - especially in light of recent events. I'm thankful, and I'm enjoying my time. Happy Birthday to me. The sewing machine is coming this week...
