My guilt at having to drive so much in my new life will soon be abated by a new friend in the yard - the Brill Lexus 38. With the upcoming yard renovation, we are looking at ways to be more environmentally friendly and sustainable. Our goal is for the new fence to be made of recycled plastic. As noted earlier, native planting that is low maintenance, low water, and sustainable is also key for us.
I'm also getting ye ol' scooter back out of hibernation as soon as the rain ends so I can conveniently, and in good conscience get to my new job. On extra ambitious days, I'll be biking it or walking to work. Pretty cool.
